This was such a good read. I'm not always one for long reads but this one was so good I devoured it! I really enjoyed how you managed to get both Harry and Draco to Brazil in a way that was plausible. The chemistry between Draco and Harry was spot on. Have to say that I loved how you weaved in their past histories in a way that made the story move forward. And bonus work on who was behind the whole thing. It was really fun.

As for art piece is was just a treat! I love the scene that was chosen and the colour palette. The rising up, the shading from the sun and Draco's tousled hair were all great touches. I hope I'll get to see more of your pieces in other fests, because your art did such justice to the written work.

Thank you so much!! I'm so happy that the story was able to pull you in! Your comments regarding Harry and Draco's chemistry and their past was so gratifying to read; as soon as I saw the prompt, the idea of two exes stuck in the jungle with all that oppressive heat and tension was too great to pass up! And I'm so glad you liked the "whodunit"--haha, a monologuing villain is always fun to write!! ;)

Thanks also for commenting on the art. I will be posting links to Higelaw's tumblr account with the piece in the next couple of days. She floored me with the concept and the softness and intimacy of the piece. I pretty much screamed when I saw it :)

Thanks so much for reading, and for leaving such a lovely comment! <33

i would love to read it, but it's hosted on DW and it's not displayed nicely on my mobile phone. :(

i tried several times last night, but the text is only a few words wide ... and without any reason, the site jumps to the bottom while i'm reading. is there a possibility to download stories on DW?

oh, or i'll copy it on pc... will be back when i managed to read it ;D

Oh yeah! I had a bit of trouble because DW is not very easy at all on mobile devices, what I ended up doing was copy and paste it as a note document. I'm pretty sure (if you have office in your mobile) you could also save it as a doc and it'll be much easier to read that way. :)

That was wonderful! I loved the back-story Harry and Draco had, all those unfinished business, those lingering feelings that neither could quite ignore.

I love it that opening sequence, because I slowly realise what Draco was doing and wow, that's amazing work!

I love how their interacts were constantly tinted with all this sexual tension and all this history, unfinished history sort of they have yet to face.

And then when it all comes down to that connection and finally say what they obviously felt all along. Oh my god! :D Yeah, it was lovely!

I loved it. And I loved the art! The colours are so beautiful, and it feels so hot, with the water fall and the light and vines. Gorgeous, really! Thank you so much, you two! <3333

Thank you so much for your sweet and lovely comment!

I was especially happy to hear that the opening struck you. Honestly, out of everything, that was what worried me the most; I wasn't sure if the nature of what Draco was doing would become eventually clear, and that it could be a deterrent for people to read further. The fact that you got it and loved it--ahhh, that absolutely made my day to hear!!

Hehehe--the idea of exes who hadn't gotten over their past, stuck together in the sweltering heat--was too good to pass up! I'm so happy that you enjoyed their interactions!

And I couldn't agree with you more about the artwork. Higelaw stunned me with her brilliance on this piece; I was so lucky to work with someone who completely understood everything I was trying to write. Unfortunately, she does not have an AO3, but I will link the work to her tumblr site once I get the story posted onto AO3.

Thanks so much for reading and for your wonderful comment! <333

Ahhh, you!! *hugs you tight*

Thank you so much for such a thoughtful and incredible comment; it put such a huge smile on my face!!! You really got everything I was hoping to convey through Harry and Draco's interactions--all the hurt and longing, the unresolved issues and those undeniable feelings--which were just compounded because of the setting. And thank you so much for mentioning the opening...that was the section I was "iffy" about, since it wasn't immediately clear what Draco was doing, and truly hoped it wouldn't turn readers away. I'm SO so happy you liked it!!

"powerful!harry is always lovely to read ;D powerful!confident!harry in a flimsy little bathing suit is even better haha"

Haha, I'm glad you enjoyed me being my indulgent self!!

And thank you for mentioning the art; The artist (Higelaw) absolutely captured everything I was imagining, and more. I am so thankful that you and many others took the time to appreciate and comment on it. :D

Thanks again for reading, and for all your lovely thoughts!!! <3333

Ohh, wow, what a story. The art, first of all, is absolutely gorgeous. I love the water, and the colors, and the intimacy of it. Phewww, such heat in the air. Both figuratively and literally ( ... )

Eeeee! I can't tell you how many times I read your incredible comment--I wanted to wrap myself in it and roll around in your words all day!! :D

I was so incredibly fortunate to have been able to work with an artist who is not only amazingly talented, but absolutely got everything I was envisioning. Unfortunately, she does not have an AO3 or LJ account, but I will properly link the piece to her Tumblr account (Higelaw) once I get this up on Ao3. The feel of the heat and water, the colors--haha, basically everything you mentioned--was what floored me as well.

Btw--I am ALWAYS down for a powerful and shirtless Harry, hehe!

I'm so happy to hear that the plot and Draco's work managed to hold your attention :) I needed a viable reason to get them to the Amazon, and when the lovely bixgirl1 included a possible Auror mystery in her prompt, I couldn't resist! And I'd love to take credit for the furtive wanking, but that was part of her request as well lol!

The ring--thank you for mentioning that. Although such a small thing, it was one of ( ... )
