That was beautifully written and so heartbreaking with the longing and sadness of an opportunity missed.

Oh that was gorgeous and heartbreaking! I loved the sense of atmosphere you've created here, and the intimacy of their shared summer moment. That last line is perfection and hauntingly sad.

(p.s. I think the header may be missing a word count, unless that's intentional!)

Ah, Grace, thank you so much! I'm always happy when I manage to write something to your liking. :) I love atmospherical settings, so it's a great delight that it worked so well for you.

Yes, the word count was missing, thanks for the hint. But as DIG labeled it a ficlet, I hope that nobody was disappointed at the shortness of it...

Oh, I loved the descriptions of the water and moonlight and both its reflections. Yes, it's sad but Draco holds his memory of that night so dear and that makes it okay in a good way. Lovely piece of work, MA!

Thank you, sweetheart! <3
You know how much I love beautiful settings, so I'm glad this one worked for you so well. And you're right about Draco: He is sad and heartbroken, but not bitter and thus able to cherish the memory of his one night with Harry. :)
