Dear community members,
This is hard for me to do, but I've been moving away from the HP fandom in slow increments, and I believe the time has come for me to step down from my role as moderator/maintainer at HP Diversity as of the end of the year. It's been lots of fun and so many people have worked hard to keep things going and active, which I appreciate greatly, but my personal interests have developed in different directions now. arobynsung, the community owner, is fully informed and has been very supportive.
I think there is still potential and a good core group of people here, so we would like to open up the position to anyone (or a team of anyones) who would be interested in taking over an active role in running things. I will stick around to help with the transition and continue to be available online if any questions should arise but it would basically be your show.
I'd like to also take this opportunity to thank arobynsung for creating this space in the fandom for other viewpoints and encouraging authentic representation in fanworks and media. I think it's an important presence in the Harry Potter fandom and I hope it can continue to be maintained.
