Hi! I just joined this group recently myself. I’ve been thinking about it for awhile, but I was always too shy. *blush* But alas, last Saturday, I met some people I RP with in an HP RPG in DC (I should stop using acronyms, shouldn’t I,) so I decided to finally bite the bullet. Also, I should be moving closer to the District in the near future, so. :P

My plan for next year is to move to the College Park area to attend grad school. So true that it is less expensive than attending a conference (but that doesn't stop me from attending them! ^___^)
Yup, I decided to take the plunge. :P I'm looking forward to attending a meetup! And hee- I am going to California to meet up with Potter fans, so I guess I have no basis to say that the conferences are too expensive. :))
