Movie Snape Commission
Hello! (Anyone seeing me ask this again, sorry you're seeing this twice!)
My boyfriend is looking for a movie!Snape costume. We just got the official robes http://www.museumreplicas.com/p-1415-professor-snape-robe.aspx in the mail, and its pretty good! Its nice quality, the issue I worry about is it it feels like good material but that makes it HEAVY. I worry about it not billowing! So we have 30 days to return it if we decide against it.
The issue with the official replica top/pants is that they're BLUE! The robes are black, which is why we got them but the shirt/pants are dark blue. So we're avoiding those.
Therefore right now I am looking for someone to make him the snape frock/top/shirt only since we have the robes. (unless we decide against them)
I've contacted a few people, (Twin Rose Designs, Spidermoth) but havent heard back yet. I'm not too happy with the costumes I see on etsy.com, so I'm looking for more options..
Does anyone have any costumers to add to that that I could contact OR better yet, anyone reading this interested in making this? I want to talk to a few people, see their work & prices. I mostly just want to look at someone who has made a snape outfit before and has photos of it worn. Rather not work with a generic costume maker that's never made this before.
Neither of us can sew, so any costume making advice is going to go right over my head..
PS to make this more interesting, here's some photos of us from Leaky Con. I just think it would make our costume so much better if he "grows up" for Leaky Con 2012 hehe.
