5. What is your favorite potion lesson that we see in the books?

The one where Harry and Snape are having completely different conversations and Legilimency is used. The one where Snape's asking Harry about Polyjuice and reading his mind and Harry is thinking of way back in CoS

I would smell new notebooks and pens, something floral/fruity, the smell in a city after it rains, something really home made like mac and cheese, and plastic shopping bags.

I love the idea of the smell changing depending on the person. I'm not sure what I would smell. Maybe the inside of a cedar chest (you know, that musty smell), and .... I don't know what else! Haha. I don't really have a favorite smell like a lot of other people.

I'm not sure what's so "magical" about potions. Sounds like chemistry and cooking class rolled into one course. Fun but I doubt it'd be my favorite class.

And my Amoritentia potion would probably smell like sugar/baked goods of some kind because I'm a fatty like that

heck yes to smelling gasoline. I know few people who agree that it smells amazing.

I could probably just sit and sniff it forever, except I am sure that would kill my brain cells.

I am like that with freshly poured asphalt but have always been afraid to be like, "mmm, new asphalt smell" because people will think I'm a freak :)
