I was underwhelmed by the epilogue on my very first read, but now I love it. Harry gets to have the happy family he's always wanted, in addition to officially becoming part of the Weasley clan. Yeah, it's a bit fluffy, but I happen to like fluff.

Plus, I'm a huge Ron/Hermione shipper, and knowing that they got married and had beautiful babies with bushy red hair (according to my headcanon) fills me with utter joy. Also, they totally had sex. Take that, anyone who ever said that Ron wasn't good enough for Hermione or that he would be an abusive, deadbeat husband.

Love the dialogue as well. "I'm extremely famous" makes me smile every time. :D

For the record, I think Al and Rose will both be Gryffindors (I don't understand why people want to put Al in Slytherin when he clearly didn't want to be there himself) and Scorpius a Slytherin, although I secretly love the idea of him as a Hufflepuff solely for Draco's reaction, haha. James is a second-year, and he has black hair and brown or hazel eyes. Al wears glasses. Everything is beautiful and nothing hurts.

This.

In a lot of ways I think the epilogue was a subtle reprimand for a lot of the creepier fanfics out their. Creepier being Hermione/Death Eater, Malfoy, Snape etc.

JKR said earlier she didn't understand why people liked Snape or Malfoy because they were terrible people and I think this was just to end all of that.
