American here looking for a bit of vocabulary and geography help!
My fic takes place in 2006 in London.
1) Is there a modern British term for policeman or is "policeman" fine? They aren't saying it in a derogatory manner
2) Where would a wealthy/trendy spot in London be? Is there a neighborhood or west vs. east London that would fit?
3) Again, a wealthy/trendy spot in London that is close to downtown.
4) Grocery stores. Are they called grocery stores or should I go with the name of the store itself? My beta said Marks & Spencer.
