Relative reputations of football teams?
Quidditch Through the Ages is pretty good at giving me a sense of the relative reputations of the various Quidditch teams. You know, Chudley Cannons being the laughingstock, all that.
I figure a puzzled Muggleborn would try to compare that to the relative reputations of football teams, in order to try to understand this Quidditch thing.
Trouble is, as an American, I know next to nothing about football. I sort of got the idea that West Ham are the lovable losers - please don't kill me if I'm wrong! I mostly picked that up from Law & Order: UK with Ronnie Brooks supporting them and Matt Devlin teasing him about it.
So, is anyone willing to give me a rundown on the major teams and how they're perceived, so I can make the comparisons with Quidditch?
Hopefully this will be less controversial than icing vs. frosting.
