a couple of legalish questions
1) What's the age of majority in England? Not the age of consent blah blah, the age at which one can legally enter into a contract, or legally inherit (that is - in the US a minor child can inherit but the estate is kept in trust - I'm looking for this age)?
2) What's the British equivalent of "ward of the state"? I.e. a minor child who is orphaned and has no immediate family members to take care of him?
