Changes to hp_bookof_fests

So that hp_bookof_fests can be more up to date, we have decided it would be better if you, the mods of fests, did your own posts. This can include:

Fest pimping, with banners if appropriate, including timetable details - a template is provided for your convenience on the sticky post.
Sign-ups
Pinch hitter requests
Beta requests
Deadline reminders

Pardon if this is a stupid question, but when you say "mod posts for information", does that mean any information? Or just sign ups and posting type info.

For instance, I just posted a reminder that submissions are due for the H/D art fest on Wednesday Sept 17. Is that the kind of thing I should post here as well?

Sorry if I'm being dense. :-D

Any information mods would want people to know. Generally, in the round ups, I only used to include mod posts that had some important change to the fest or provided extra info or... dunno, posts about new banners, things like that. But if you think your reminder won't reach all participants if you only post it at the fest community, then of course, you're welcome to post it here, too. I think that's the general idea, anyhow.
