Alya had come so close to ditching class. She wasn't in the mood to talk to or see anyone. It would be worth going to the infirmary and getting prodded if it meant they'd eventually just let her sleep.
And Leo was gone.
The full moon was getting close and she could feel it rising in her blood.
And Leo was gone.
She still felt angry about the whole situation but she couldn't believe a Hogwarts professor would ever...
She gripped her quill so tightly it snapped and she had to dig into her bag for another. Her desk was right across the aisle from the twins in Ravenclaw and their hushed whispers and little giggles.
All the whispers felt like bees buzzing right in her ears and she was hot and tired and lonely and then she heard ...
'I heard he got kicked out because he was dealing drugs to Professor Sinclair.'
She liked Brando's dad so Alya felt a little bad she was about to kill someone in his class.
Raegan rolled her eyes when she heard the quill snap. Overdramatic much? Of course she was. She was just like the rest of these Hogwarts students. They thought they were so special. They were just typical students in a typical hypocritical learning environment. If it weren't for Brando she would be seriously considering a transfers to Durmstrang.
"I heard he got kicked out because he dealing drugs to Professor Sinclair."
Um. What?
"EXCUSE ME?"
Raegan turned to look at where Alya was staring. The Ravenclaw twins. She'd heard them discussing Leo before. This was the git that her uncle lost his career over? Really, Sinclair? REALLY?
"Don't tell me you're the last to know, Malfoy. Your cousin was dealing, and the good professor couldn't say no. I heard he was caught by Headmaster Snape too. Shame really. He was eye candy."The explosion was loud. All eyes turned to the boy eagle who had been talking. One of his chair legs was blown straight off his chair and now he was on the floor. He and his twin sister were glaring at Alya

Alya heard the explosion but she didn't really register where it came from just that one of the Ravenclaws was down which made what she was about to do a little bit easier.
She launched herself across the aisle at the twin girl. Fuck the wand. If she wanted to inflict damage she didn't need a wand to make it happen. And she did. She really wanted to inflict damage.
Which explains how the girl wound up being picked up out of her seat by her braids and tossed out into the middle of the classroom.
It as when the idiot boy tried to hex Alya when her back was turned that Raegan felt obligated to help. Nothing irritated and disgusted her more than someone attempting to hurt someone while their back was turned.
"Expelliarmus!" She called out, and caught the wand easily. Then she sat it on her desk and cast the exploding charm she was so fond of. Oops no more wand.
"She's right you know. Stop talking."
The boy was on his feet and had the wand of one of his friend's within seconds. The hex he tossed at her was easily blocked when Raegan kicked a chair at him causing him to stumble and mis-aim. Unfortunately the Slytherin sitting next to her wasn't so lucky and ended up with boils on his face.
"That's enough, all of you," Professor Savage said, but the boy had already cast another spell at Raegan that hit her on the wrist. The stinging charm. Her wand dropped so she decided that Alya had the right idea. Hurling herself across the room she tackled the git and punched him in the face.
