Hi Eeri,

First, let me tell you a few things about me. My name is Alicia (I'm posting anonymously because my computer is being stupid and won't let me post this comment any other way.) I'm a female college student in the U.S. My approach to beta-ing is to be honest about the good and the bad. I want to help you focus on the wonderful parts of your story and fix or prune the parts that are detrimental. While I am pretty blunt, I do try to always state things in the kindest, most constructive way possible.

And now, onto the reasons why I think I'd be an awesome beta for you:

1. I am a huge fan of HP. I've read the books and watched the movies multiple times, and am well-versed in the HP universe.
2. I love anything to do with Draco, especially Draco and Harry, so I think I'll enjoy reading your story and helping you make it the best story it can be.
3. I'm an English minor, and therefore have an excellent understanding of plot, character development, spelling, grammar, flow, etc.
4. I've struggled with depression before; I know what you're going through. I think I'd be a great cheerleader because of my previous experience. Also, I like to be involved in the writing process even before the first draft is completed. If you're having issues where you just "sit and write, but [...] feel like it's not working", I'd be more than happy to be a sounding board, brainstorming partner, or to ask you questions that would hopefully inspire or spark something. Basically, I'd be willing to do whatever it is that you need to keep you going.
