I really am the only one who laughs at the funnies...
Today, while at the 2 hour monthly staff meeting, I sat in the back and worked on a hat.
I was paying attention. AND if called upon, I could have responded intelligently. I saw no point NOT to crochet.
I started working on a hat, but melora98 got a hold of my ball and played with it until it dwindled...(translation: I ran out of yarn too soon).
So, I came home and got a good color to pair the almost finished hat with and ended up....with a STRAWBERRY!!!!
Very cute, right? But then I got creative....and
ADDED A BRAID!!!!
See how cute it looks? (Don't look at me....look at the hat on my head)...
And how it looks from the back (it's pretty damn difficult to take pics of your own back--I'm not that limber)
The reason I ran short on this pink is that I made some pink gauntlets.
These two will be going to my presentation and then going for sale at the library workers conference. But I thought it was cute. I will have to make one for me.
