Front desk: Hi, the reservations say room and tax to an Amex but there's only a MasterCard authorized. I know we got the form yesterday, I put the notes on the reservations.
Me: Did you authorize the Amex on the reservations?
Front Desk: No. Was I supposed to?
*bangs head on desk*
Me: Yes because the system doesn't know what's on the paper form. (trying not to be sarcastic but possibly came across that way)
And a five minute conversation with two different people over two phone calls insues as to who has the form and why I don't have the form.
I can't wait till lunch. Maybe it'll help the pounding headache that's formed.
