“Weasley, you're still here? It's Christmas, lad. Go home!”
For a moment, Percy's heart soared: Fudge had remembered his proper name! But the word “home” sent him tumbling back to Earth.
In dreams, he always found himself back at the Burrow, reveling in the cacophony that was family life, warmed by firelight and his mother's cooking. But each morning he awoke alone and shivering in his dank flat, where no spell seemed capable of keeping the cold wind at bay.
And that was where he'd spend this holiday, bundled up in last year's jumper with the “P” on the front.
