James had always been impossible to wake, and most of the time it hadn't been a problem, but now the baby was very definitely on his way and Lily wasn't about to leave a note saying "Giving birth, gone to St. Mungo's" on the pillow. She glared at his annoyingly peaceful form for another moment, then gave him a sharp kick in the shin.
"Fgswl."
"James. Get up. The baby."
"Yeh. En' of July." He rolled over.
"No, James, now." She kicked him again. "Now!"
James sat upright suddenly. "What? Now? It's only the twelfth!"
"I know that. He's early."

"Look, I know it's unusual, but--"
"It's bad enough he'll be stuck with such a strange surname. Children are so awful about strange names. Can't we just name him... I don't know, something normal?"
"It's a classical name! It's got history!"
"So has Attila, and I don't hear you suggesting that."
"That... how is that relevant?"
"We are giving this child a normal name!"
Fourteen years later, stifling their laughter, Timothy Lupin and his friends snuck out of the dormitory and toward the Forbidden Forest. "Full moon," Sirius whispered, pointing up. "D'you think there are really werewolves in there?"

(What if Remus' parents hadn't gone and named him "Mr. Wolfy Wolf"? I bet he wouldn't have got bitten...)
