Arthur closed the door quietly, knowing he was in trouble for coming home late.. again. He tucked his bag and travelling hat in the nearest cupboard when he heard a voice from the room ajar.
“Arthur! You’re late! And what possessed you to clean up the house? I can’t find my wool, it’s your fault! How do you propose that I make the kid’s presents this year?”
Before even entering the room, he put his hat back on and apparated to Diagon Alley, offering Molly a stumbling excuse about trying to stay out of trouble and buying some more wool.
