Title: Out of the Closet
House: Gryffindor
Word Count: 100
Characters/Pairings: Harry
Author's Notes: thought it'd be a good thing to note i use wordcounttool.com to count my work.

Harry had a love-hate relationship with the small closet beneath the stairs that he called home. He hated how it seemed to be getting smaller (Harry knew he was growing, but that didn't change the feeling of slight claustrophobia). There was also nothing to do. He often counted the spiders, numbers (the highest he'd gotten before getting bored was 2,852), and did a lot of thinking, imagining his parents.

If there was anything good about the closet, it was a place Harry could call his own, a place he could be safe from the Dursley's, what he valued most of all.
