Title: The First Dance
House: Hufflepuff
Word Count: 100!
Characters/Pairings: H/G
Author's Notes: It's the dance that started all of them - Harry and Ginny, during the first dance at their reception.
She loved the feel of him. It wasn't that either one of them were great dancers - though they had been practicing, lately - but he was such a presence on the dance floor. It might have been that he'd been getting some muscle from working with the Aurors. But he seemed so much more real to her lately, when she was leaning against his chest, with his breath in her hair.
Today, the dance floor was all theirs. They got the first, and the last, dance.
She was Mrs. Ginny Potter. And she'd never get tired of hearing that.
Title: Dances with Freaks
House: Hufflepuff
Word Count: 100!
Characters/Pairings: Dudley/Sally-Anne Perks
Author's Notes: I have a fondness for Sally-Anne, and I've developed a fondness for Dudley, so it makes sense to stick them together, right? Dancing at Harry and Ginny's reception.
Sally-Anne was a nice enough girl, he supposed... But he wasn't sure why exactly she was doing this. It wasn't as if there was a shortage of... them... of wizards at the reception.
He was glad his father wasn't at the wedding recption to see him being cozy with a 'freak'.
But she had such a pretty smile, for a 'freak'. And she thought his jokes were funny, even if she was a bit more excitable than most people.
"Why the hell not?" He said as he took her hand, and let her lead him out onto the dance floor.
Title: Rejected Invitation
House: Hufflepuff
Word Count: 100!
Characters/Pairings: R/H (sort of), Percy, Bill
Author's Notes: Poor Ron and Hermione... They can never quite manage to be happy, can they? Making emo eyes at Harry and Ginny's reception.
"'Mione?" He asked the woman who was pointedly ignoring him from across the table. "I don't suppose you'd care to dance?" She Looked at him sadly, as if she were trying to decide whether or not he was joking. Some of the spark returned to her eyes when she told him no, and then turned to speak to Percy about something to do with the Ministry.
"I think you've blown that one, mate." His brother Bill said from beside him.
Ron shoved his hands in his lap miserably and stared at her back.
It had been worth the try, anyway.

Title: The Perfect News
House: Hufflepuff
Word Count: 100!
Characters/Pairings: Teddy/Victoire
Author's Notes: One that is not set at Harry and Ginny's wedding, believe it or not, in which Teddy and Victoire dance.
The house was so quiet. Victoire sighed, and arranged the flowers in the vase once again.
The music playing in the background was comforting. The candles gave the flat a soft glow, and the flowers added a little swatch of color wherever they were placed. She was going to extra trouble to make sure that things looked their best for Teddy tonight. She couldn't wait, and shivered with excitement when she heard his key turn in the lock.
When she told him he was going to be a father, Teddy picked her up, and they danced around the parlor together.
