Title: Pre-Yule Ball
House: Gryffindor
Word Count: 100
Characters: Fred, George, Angelina, Alicia or Katie
Challenge: So you think you can dance?
Author's Notes: All my creativity went into the other drabble, so sorry for the pathetic title here.

“You can’t dance!” George said to his twin.
“So?”
“So you’re going with Angelina to the Yule Ball.”
“This is Angelina, George! She plays Quidditch, she’s not a girl-“
George pointed to Ron, apparently still nagging Hermione about her date. “You see where statements like that got Ron?”
“No--I mean she’s not girly.”
“Yes, but she is a girl, and it is a dance, so there will be certain expectations.”
“Look, she won’t want me to dance, and if she does...I’ll just make something up.” Fred grinned over at Angelina. She smiled distractedly back.
“You can’t dance, Angelina.”

Title: Dance of Death
House: Gryffindor
Word Count: 100
Characters: see author's note
Challenge: So you think you can dance?
Author's Notes: I was thinking of several different duels when I wrote this. Any guesses as to which ones?

A dodge to the left as light flashes by to the right.
A quick step to the side, eyes always on your partner.
You better be able to dance this dance.
The stakes are higher than any dance before.
Even if you can dance
Even if you’re good at it
Even if you usually win
Mistakes will happen.
Stepping right, instead of left.
A little slow with your Expelliarmus or Protego.
Taunting your partner for their inability to dance, or being too sure that you can.
The dance ends then, in a sudden flash of light (probably green).
You lose.
