The hooded robe was too large for him, and Millicent’s was more a shade of grey.
It would do for now.
He helped her clasp on the mask before doing so for himself.
Her sweaty, trembling hand took his. He grasped it tight.
“Ready?” She nodded.
The road leading to Hogwarts were stationed with Deatheaters, their heads tilting inquisitively at the sight of two unfamiliar colleagues.
Imperio.
They hid their wands to follow, and were let through without questioning at the school gates.
Only fools fought battles ill-prepared, Blaise thought, as Millient commanded in a whisper -
"Take the Deatheaters."
