I stared at Lily Potter, feeling my forehead crease in confusion. They had told me she was a mudblood like me. But they had never told me of her bravery, or of her beauty. Before this moment, I had never laid my eyes on her.
"Take me instead of Harry!" she shrieked, but I shook my head coldly.
"No, Potter," A pause. "I offer you the chance of a lifetime: To be by my side eternally. To become...my mistress. My lover."
She glared and shook her head. "Never!"
Shame and anger reared their ugly heads. "You mudblood...Avada Kedavra!"
