Sometimes he would dream about his leg, the pain unbearable as the healing charm wore off.
He wanted his mum and his bed, and didn’t understand why she had brought him to the woods. He huddled underneath a large tree, trying to find shelter from the elements. It was dark, the rain was coming down, and in the distance he could hear his mum wailing and dada yelling and his uncle singing a lullaby about boys.
Waking in a cold sweat, there would be a moment or two when Fenrir could still feel the sopping cold of his torn pants.
