"We meet again," Voldemort said, staring at Harry out of his eyes, with their slit pupils. "This time, you won't find yourself so lucky."
Harry steeled himself. He found himself wishing he'd practiced Occlumency a little more diligently; there was something about the way Voldemort was staring at him.
"You won't win," Harry replied, plucking up the courage to answer the Dark Lord despite the searing pain in his forehead.
They were interrupted by a cat meowing. Moments later, Minerva McGonagall stood in its place.
"Avada Kedavra!"
The last thing Harry saw was a green light coming from her wand.
