Title: P To Middle, P1, P2tog, P1, Turn
Rating: G
House: Slytherin
Word Count: 100, so says MSWord
Characters/Pairings: Hermione, mention of Ron and Harry
Author's Notes: A) Greetings and all that! Pardon the newbie post, please let me know if I tag anything incorrectly. One thing, 'line' as in 'line of instructions' wasn't included in the prompt, so I hope I'm not too far off the mark.

B) Ahh... The joys of knitting patterns. I never would have started with a sock, but we all know Hermione is, at heart, the adventurous type.

--------

Hermione could still remember the first time she picked up a pattern and became convinced that she would need to learn a new language. Line after line was filled with a random compilation of letters and numbers that made no sense at all. P1? K2tog? PSSO? Was 'gusset' even English?

Determined, she sat down and translated every single thing that she didn't understand, and finally set to work.

Although Harry and Ron weren't exceptionally impressed with the oddly shaped bag that Hermione waved under their noses, they could tell that it was important that they bow to her first sock.
