Title: Emergency

“Harry, come quick!”
The gangly redhead was all winded, and it seemed he had run all the way from Gryffindor Tower.
The whole Gryffindor table seemingly leaned in towards the pair, with Ron’s tone of voice suggesting disaster.
“Hermione, she’s trapped!”
The two ran off to the Tower as quick as they could, the rest of their House rushing in their wake.
Flames were coming out of the Common Room, and the sound of breaking glass greeted them.
Harry smashed open the door and several cries of “Aguamenti!” extinguished the blaze.
Hermione was curled up on the floor, apparently unharmed.

Harry gently lifted his best friend in his arms, with Ron’s assistance. Ginny sobbed quietly at their side.
“Coming through!” Professor McGonagall’s sharp voice commanded, and the sea of students parted to reveal the Headmistress making her way to the Golden Trio.
“Hermione?” Harry gently asked her, carefully checking for other injuries, noticing several bruises on her hands and face.
“Is she going to be all right?” Ron’s voice sounded strained.
“Take her to Madame Pomfrey, Mr. Weasley, Mr. Potter, quickly.”
Hermione moaned softly, grimacing slightly.
They all sighed with relief until she raspily uttered the words, “Death Eaters…broke in..”
