Minerva McGonagall saw the smoke from her office window. Rushing down the spiral staircase and out the doors, she raised her wand as she approached Hagrid’s hut.
“Alohomora!” She cried, bursting through the door and preparing to assist in dousing the flames.
It appeared the half-giant had somehow managed to set his bed on fire. “Aquamenti,” McGonagall said calmly, filling the room with thick smoke as the fire was extinguished.
Hagrid chuckled nervously under McGonagall’s stern stare. “Eh, I was only… tryin’ ter cook somethin’?”
She merely raised an eyebrow as he slipped a small pink umbrella behind his back.
