Author's Notes: Two times in as many weeks! I guess I'm in a playful mood, because like last week I felt like taking a little dig at the characters.
"Don't get your hopes up, mate. She'd skin you alive soon as look at you." Sirius peeled the rind of his orange back, paying what seemed to be too much attention to getting every bit of the zest off of it.
"But she's perfect," James pouted. "She hates me! I need to get her to like me, but all you can do is crack jokes." He pointed his wand and the orange in Sirius's hand turned into a rather startled, orange-colored tweety bird. "You could help, y'know."
Sirius grinned wickedly and said, "Thought I was, mate... Thought I was."
