Characters: Peter, Remus, mentions of James and Sirius. Peter/Remus.
Author's Notes: This is my first ever post here. :)

Wizard’s Chess had always been one of Peter’s fortes. Perhaps one of his only fortes in his opinion.
It was always enjoyable to see the expression on James’ and Sirius’ faces when he took their king, usually in under ten minutes too. Needless to say they didn’t play him all that often anymore.
The only person who played him on a regular basis now was Remus. Unlike their companions Remus didn’t seem to care who won, and would just watch the different tactics Peter would use, his hand occasionally brushing against Peter’s in a way that made Peter shiver pleasantly.
