Remus watched in admiration as the flyer sped over the lake, low enough to leave a ripple on the surface of the water. He blinked when the figure landed nearby. It was Severus Snape. “You fly really well!” Remus exclaimed.
Snape ignored him and headed toward the castle. Remus grabbed his books and hurried after the other boy.
“Why aren’t you on your house’s team?”
Snape glanced around, then glared at Remus. “What do you want, Lupin?”
Remus shook his head. “Nothing. Just...nothing.”
“I don’t like games.”
“That’s why you’re not on the team?”
Snape snorted and kept on walking.
