This was never the case for the Weasleys. For the entire Weasley clan, Tuesday was the best day of the week.
On Tuesdays, there was candy for everyone, maybe even a little toy if you’d behaved. There was your favorite meal, and there was plenty for second helpings. There was always dessert on Tuesdays - ice cream, even cake sometimes. Sometimes, there’d even be some much-needed clothing, or books.
By Tuesday, Arthur’s check had cleared.
By Friday, it was gone.
