“It’s done.” The woman held a small, square envelope and watched as the man folded another shirt neatly and put it into a suitcase. He frowned at the luggage already sitting by the door.
“It’s like we’re running away-”
“We’re not running away, we’re just getting away from the publicity.”
“You didn’t have to do it.”
She snorted. “They’re my books and I was sick of all the second-guessing.”
“And now when people find out that the ‘reprieve’ is for Voldemort, and instead of two, you’ve killed off every other main character....”
“Teach them not to count their chickens.”
