Peeves cackled manically as he belted out his refrain, the Chamber of Secrets has been opened, Harry’s second year.
Six years later, Hermione sits and weeps, sobbing out the verse. How did it come to this?
He comes to her then, shushes her gently.
“Now, now Hermione. It’s okay. I’ll keep you safe, I always keep what’s mine safe.” He smiled then, “And you Hermione, are mine - like the Marauder’s Map, my dad’s invisibility cloak and Hogwarts. All mine. Mine alone.”
