Mother's Day was an entirely Muggle notion. Of course, Arthur loved it.

"Just think, Molly," he mused over breakfast. "A whole day, devoted to celebrating mothers! Isn't that wonderful?"

“Mmm,” she muttered, prodding the pot of porridge on the stove with her wand.

Arthur decided that from now on, he was going to observe this special holiday. “Here, darling. In honor of Mother’s Day, let me make breakfast.”

He pointed his wand at the stove. The pot went flying, showering them both in globs of whole oats.

Brushing porridge from her eyebrows, Molly said, “Next year, Arthur, buy me flowers.”
