Neville walked down the corridor with his back straight and his head held high. No matter what happened today, he didn’t intend to give Bellatrix the pleasure of seeing him weak. Of seeing him flinch.
Dean and Seamus looked up in surprise when he came in. Seamus recovered first; grinning, he said “Now there’s the look of a man who knows what he’s to do. We could use more of that around here, eh?” He elbowed Dean, who grinned weakly.
“Of course I know what to do.” Neville said it serenely, confidently. His parents were finally going to receive justice.
