A/N: Okay, so, if you’ve read either Telanu’s Tea series or Sushi’s Civil War series, this was sort of inspired by an event in Civil War (Christmas), and a note from Snape to Harry in the Tea series (“Never again.”) Enjoy.
He plucked the bottle of Ogden's Old from its shelf with a sigh. He wasn't moping-Snapes just didn't do such undignified things.
He smiled a sad smile, tipping the bottle up and watching some of the amber liquid glop glop glop into the tumbler. It put him in mind of last Christmas; visions of Molly Weasley’s wagging finger and Harry’s drunken giggling swam before his eyes. He sighed again, wistfully. How long had it been since he had wrapped his arms around that daft, loveable little urchin? It didn’t matter, though.
He never could nor, it seemed, would again.
