Madame Rosmerta never got rich running the Three Broomsticks.
Hard work is what she got, keeping rowdy goblins from annoying others or booting the Ravenclaw Quidditch team out after a victory celebration. Keeping the privacy of lovers in the back booth from the loud argument between two shopkeepers is no easy feat.
But she shared girl talk with Minerva and a wink and a flirt with Dumbledore. Rosmerta never passed up turning the Weasley boy’s face red by planting what she hoped was an indecent thought in a fertile mind.
Rosmerta has no galleon treasure.
