Every time they meet they agree on it being nothing but coincidence (not fate).
“Why, Potter - you still stalking me?” Malfoy will ask when they once again find themselves face to face at work, in Diagon Alley or at some party.
“Well, Malfoy, it’s not my fault you always get in my way,” Harry will answer and not protest in the slightest when Draco pins him against the nearest unnoticed wall; kissing stealing their breaths away.
They part with a hushed “see you around” because they both know it’s inevitable (a fact of life; thunder will always crack after lightning).

Those odd little ideas… they make no sense in a war-torn world (not in any other world for that matter), but Pansy finds herself… fascinated (is that the word?)… anyway; by the way Loony keeps her faith even when she’s on the battlefield; curses whistling through the air.
