Severus slowly lifted the left sleeve of his robe. Pain and humiliation ran through him as Lily gasped.
She gaped at him, “No, tell me it’s not true!” A tear ran down her cheek, and her bottom lip trembled.
Severus curled his lip up in a sneer, “What Evans? Am I not beautiful to you anymore?” He pulled the sleeve back down roughly covering the Dark Mark.

Molly hummed along with the Muggle radio that Arthur had brought to Grimmauld Place. Usually she hated his Muggle possessions, but this one was something wonderful.
She took a spatula in her hand, and used it as a microphone as she sang along with the lyrics.
The sound of a throat clearing behind her made her stop her dancing. Turning around with her cheeks blazing she spotted the person.
Remus smiled at her, “Don’t worry Molly. I should be used to the song by now.”

Remus groaned, James laughed, and Peter looked confused as Sirius came to a stop a few feet away from them. They were all dressed in costumes, as was tradition on Halloween.
“I don’t get it.” Peter declared as he circled Sirius.
Sirius was about to respond when a flash of red caught his eye. He turned and watched a girl dressed as little red riding hood walk by him. Turning back to his friends he grinned, “The Big Bad Wolf is going to play.”

“I hate both of you.” Remus ground out, his cheeks flushing pink.
