Title: Better Now
House: Ravenclaw
Word Count: 100
Characters/Pairings: implied Neville/Gran
Challenge: Transformation
Notes: Augusta refers to herself as 'auntie' because I don't think her character in this drabble would refer to herself as 'granny'. I wanted her to come across as being obsessed with youth and her old age.
__________
She is hovering closer now and she raises a hand. He unconsciously flinches. Her hand is defining the contours of his face now and his eyes drop to his feet, away from hers. She is comparing his smooth and her age now, finding she’d rather look at this boy, her darling boy. She quite likes him now, even more so than before. She likes his lean and lanky limbs and his baby soft curls now, likes how they feel and need now. She tells him, come to auntie now, auntie will make it better now. And he follows her lead.
