Neville sat in the common room, drawing. Sometimes he thought it was the only thing that kept him sane. Laughter trilled over the mutter of students working. Neville continued to concentrate as he tried to capture her personality on paper. The light in her eyes, the fall of her hair, her sense of humour, her sense of fair play.
At last he put his pencil down and looked at the drawing. It was the best he'd ever done. He stuffed it into a folder in his knapsack. Susan would be in Herbology tomorrow. Perhaps he'd slip it to her then.
