Propping himself on an elbow, he asked, "Where are you going?"
Gathering her clothes, she glanced at him, "I have to leave. Tomorrow is Christmas and Draco is expecting me."
Theodore muttered a heartfelt, "Damn!"
Pansy pulled on her sweater, "What?"
"I completely forgot." He sighed, "I even knew what I wanted to get you."
Sighing, she sank down onto the bed next to him, "We said we wouldn't, remember?"
Gently, he kissed her hand, "I know. But I wanted to anyway."
"You make me feel loved," she kissed him, "and that is the best present anyone could give me."

A/N: Eh, got nothing. Not without giving away the end... As you can probably guess, Christmas is not a good time of year for me.
He wrapped it in blood red paper, tied a golden ribbon around the tiny box, and placed the present under the barren tree. It was the only one he had, the only one he wanted.
The box stared at him the next day.
And the next.
Snow greeted him Christmas day and he stood in the kitchen, waiting for the kettle to boil. He could feel the box staring at him through three walls as he made his tea.
Finally, he opened the box and stared at the silver bullet nestled lovingly within. It was time to rejoin his family.
