A/N: While Severus’s intentions might be less than honorable, nothing is going on between the two, for now at least.
Severus watched the students twirling around the dance floor, noting the glare the idiotic duo gave Krum as he spun the Granger girl around in a tight arc. They wouldn’t be so quick to challenge him if they knew the private lessons Krum received from Karkaroff, above and beyond Durmstrang’s normal curriculum.
His scowl darkened watching the pair dance. It was practically indecent the way Granger seemed to cling to the young man. Perhaps she didn’t understand Krum might misinterpret her actions.
With the intention of helping a misguided student, Severus stepped forward to cut in on the smiling couple.
