Title: Celebration
House: Slytherin
Word Count: 100
Characters/Pairings: Draco/Hermione
__________

A party. A celebration of…what, exactly? There’s nothing to commemorate (don’t think about Harry)-well, there is, but she can’t possibly concentrate on all those things. She’s got other things to notice.

She can notice how Ron never quite looks her in the eye anymore, because he’s embarrassed for her. She doesn’t need to read minds; it’s clearly on his face.

She can notice how Ginny rarely talks to her anymore, and she knows with no doubt that it’s because she wouldn’t be comfortable talking to Hermione. Not when-

But…she has Draco (as he makes obvious, kissing her). That, she celebrates.

Title: Just Right
House: Slytherin
Word Count: 100
Characters/Pairings: Draco/Harry, Hermione/Blaise
__________

Hermione Granger is marrying Blaise Zabini.

“Whoever thought the day would come when a Gryffindor would fall in love with a Slytherin?” Draco asks his companion.

Harry rolls his eyes. “Draco, get over it.”

Draco wanted Blaise to marry Daphne Greengrass or Tracy Davis. It seemed like Blaise was determined to do the exact opposite-something only Blaise could successfully pull off.

“Get over it? She’s a m-Gryffindor.”

“Was, Draco.”

“Was. It still counts, you know.”

So, Hermione’s engagement party is in full swing and, though Ron is in some corner sulking (to Draco’s delight), it feels upbeat. Fitting.

Just right.
