“Malfoy,” Harry greets as he leans against the wall, shoulder brushing Draco’s in the process.
“Potter,” Draco says, the usual sneer absent, an uncertain tone barely audible in his voice.
They leave the party together, walking under the starry sky side by side, remembering the past and hoping for a future.

Partying is about drinking (even when it’s only partying for two) and they’re both so drunk that recalling their own names is rather difficult. Lavender lets herself fall onto her back on the mattress, staring at the red bed-draping, Parvati’s black hair tickling her neck.
“I hate Ron,” Lavender says and hiccups. Parvati turns her head, chin resting on Lavender’s shoulder. Lavender looks at her, suddenly realising Parvati’s the most beautiful girl she has ever seen.
Parvati’s arms sneak around Lavender’s waist, hugging her close to her body.
They French kiss because it feels good. Fuck boys, anyway.
Maybe not.
