Interesting idea, and since I couldn't really see the scat too well here, not that squicky. So it's something that heals you, purges you, AND makes you stronger? Kewl. And Lucius' thoughts about Draco seem very in-character; seems like he's always kind of disappointed in him.

Yes, the drabble went through lots of variations and eventually developed into something not very squicky at all. It's based on a real pill (described in the link in the A/N) that was reused over and over by the whole family. I think I may have made it too subtle, but I was tickled with the way it turned out. : ) In an earlier, longer version, Lucius only imagined that he was absorbing strength from his ancestors, like when cannibal tribes eat the hearts of their enemies.
