Challenge: Change (as in how werewolves change. A bit flimsy, I know, but there you have it.)
Characters/Pairings: Fenrir Greyback, Remus Lupin, Remus' dad.
He found the boy rummaging through his garbage bins.
‘Please,’ the scarred child whispered hoarsely, ‘please, ‘m hungry…’
‘Werewolf!’ he yelled, hexing the brat, who swiftly scurried away.
Worried, Mr Lupin retreated into the house, where his wife and son waited.
The boy hid in the bushes, his pain festering within him. A scrap of food, a night of warmth, love was all he craved. Couldn’t they understand? Had they no sympathy?
The moon rose, Fenrir grinned. The little boy Lupin was outside, feeding his rabbit.
If he could have no food, nor warmth, nor love, then he’d have revenge.
