Professor Snape sneered as he marked a particularly unfortunate potions quiz with yet another large red X. It was the worst one yet, scoring a pathetic 30. He glanced up at the top of the paper. Humph. A Slytherin. Too bad, but every House had its share of idiots.
He reached for the next quiz. Number one… correct. The next answer, and the next, also correct. He sat up a bit straighter. It wasn’t Granger’s quiz, he’d already grudgingly given her the only perfect 100. The only one until now. He uncovered the student’s name. No. It wasn’t possible. “Longbottom?!”
