Title: A Life Less Ordinary
House: Ravenclaw
Words: 100
Characters, pairings: Argus Filch's family
A/N: Hopefully it's clear what's "hard" here.
In ancient times, Jason reminds his wife, squib children were placed in a burlap bag tied with a golden ribbon and dropped in a running river.
But Medea is a softhearted woman, and she insists that it'll be okay. He doesn't have to be magical, she says, hugging the gangly eight-year-old tightly.
When the boy is thirteen, the letter comes for his sister Thea. And two years later, for Gea. By the time Medi receives her letter, the boy no longer waits hopefully.
Jason looks at his son and tries not to think about the life they've doomed him to.
